natural light + newborn photographer based in fort wayne, indiana.

i'm a blessed military wife and mama of  four. my husband recently got out of the marine corps and our little family moved from north carolina back to our hometown of fort wayne in 2018. we have two german shepherd pups who are the sweetest, ditziest dogs you will ever meet. on any given day, you will find me snuggled up in bed with my kiddos while editing and watching whatever movie my eldest requests that day.

people have always described me as a very shy person, and that is not a wrong assumption. for as long as i can remember, i have always had anxiety.  nonetheless, i do not let it keep me from making genuine connections with people i work with or stop me from pursuing photography.  when i'm behind the camera, all my anxiety and worries wash away and it's like i'm a completely different person. since branching out from doing photography just as a hobby, i have become reassured, forthcoming, and empowered.  

 

i have always been one with nature. I am a very outdoorsy girl. i would spend all day, every day outdoors if i could - which is why i think natural light photography peaked my interest. wild landscapes paired with sunrise or sunset is my ideal style for portraits.

 

newborn portraiture is one of my newfound passions. after becoming a mom and discovering my love of photographing my children, i felt the need to share my passion with others. there is no better feeling than seeing the reactions of my clients receiving their photos.   capturing your precious moments for you to cherish forever is what makes my heart happy.
